Short for a female is always cute. I longed to be short when I was your age because I towered over everyone. My nicknames were not so, erm, cute. Totem Pole. Jolly Green Giant. T Rex. I never felt girly until college when the boys ~ some of them ~ were actually my height and taller.
Short is cute forever if you're female. You are blessed. Embrace it.

Hey when i was 11 years old in primary school i was only 129 cm tall! Yeah i was called midget and elf and shorty but i usually just kicked the person where it hurt. But i realized that was stupid so just ignore it and defend yourself. And your supposed to be 13 years and up to use Yahoo but doesn't matter because over a quarter of Yahoo members are actually under age. Your growing spurt will come when you get around to 13-17 years old. Some people have heirs early and some have them late. Oh yeah and make the people who call your names feel sorry for you or say " Okay not cool". People are scared to call me short or tease me because i used to hurt them back but i only did that for a year until i thought it's not worth hurting people.
P.S If you want to hurt the person especially the boys kick them in the shins or crotch. Don't do it only if you have to. Lol :)

The first thing is to just learn that nature has made you what you are and that you had nothing to do with it. Once you realize this you will stop felling hurt due to a latent guilt.
Then turn the tables on the ones that tease you. When someone says something about your stature simply say something like" Nothing wrong with being short. Just so my feet can reach the ground." Smile when you say this. After a few times they will notice you are not bothered buy their comments and they will stop. In fact they will notice your sense of humor and start seeking you out as a friend.
Good luck

our daughter was very short as a youngster, and the doctor's did growth charts and all that and decided full grown she would be 5 foot tall at the very most. at 13 she was barely 4'6".
well, she cried and cried and hated it 'cause everyone called her midge and shorty and munchkin and elf. but what she hated most was in school they had lockers and she couldn't reach the top shelf and had to use a stepstool. well you can imagine how embarassing that was for her.
one day a friend of ours came to visit from hawaii, i told her all the problems our daughter was having with her height so my girlfriend took our daughter into town for a girl weekend, shopping, movies, shopping, lol. when they finally came home i couldn't believe the change in our daughter's attitude! she was thrilled to be petite~my girlfriend is very petite and always has men rushing to help her because she is tiny and cute! so a weekend of watching her being treated like a princess by strangers convinced our daughter being tiny might not be such a big problem after all! so for the whole next year our daughter was just thrilled with her life~then she grew! the doctors' charts don't mean much - between the ages of 15 and 17 our daughter grew to 5'6" and we all laughed like crazy 'cause she was so upset that she was getting tall!
so sweetie, dont' worry about it, you'll stretch out some as you get older, and in the meantime enjoy being petite!
merry christmas!

Don't worry about being short! You have plenty of time to grow. What you can do is 'predict' your height, on a website like this: http://www.webmd.com/content/tools/1/calc_kid_height.htm.
I've always wished to be short. I'm 14 and I'm 180cm, which is 5'11".
Just ignore the kids who call you names. They're immature and not worth your time. People do things like that out of jealousy!

don't worry sweetie you still have time to grow and get taller
and just ignore the people who make fun of you just tell them that you don't care and you're happy like that and never ever show them that you care or your said about it just don't let things get to you
and buy the way there's alot of hollywood actress r soo short and they re really famous and they have the hottest boyfriends so the height is not every thing just be strong and have hight self esteem

When you turn 18, move to Montana. Here there are a lot of people who are between 4' 10" and 5' 6" for both men and women.
