Try to judge by how he acts. If he focuses just on you or wants to hang out with just you, he probably likes you. Or other stuff, like being closer to you, or anything else..
You could always try asking his friends or something.

If a boy hangs around you all time he likes you. Maybe just as a friend but he does like you. If he picks you out of a crowd and just seeks you out, then he definitely likes you. Try judging by the things he does or says. Men give plenty of clues on if they like you. Even though sometimes they don't make it obvious in fear of rejection. Other times they make it so obvious you miss it. It is proven Men don't know how Woman think, and Woman don't know how men think. If we did we would know exactly what to say all the time. Which in reality would be pretty boring. Anyway back to your topic look for the signs. Does he brush against your hand when he walks by? Does he say things like compliment your clothes, hair, flexibility? If so all of these are signs of flirting, or showing some interest in you. Does he say you do anything well? Examples play sports well? Maybe he comments that you have a nice smile, or a nice laugh. There are too many signs to go through all of them, but I'm sure you get the idea. Just watch for signs that say he likes me, he finds me interesting, he can't get enough of me, he is always around, he watches me from a distance. He might be shy. Watch for the signs and good luck. If he is 17 be careful also he might say and do things to make you believe he loves you just to get you to sleep with him. Don't do anything foolish until your ready. By ready I mean, prepared to take care a child if one is made. Remember there is no safe sex, condoms break, the pill is only 99.9% accurate. What happens if you fall in that .1% plus people forget to take the pill. Just don't do anything you will regret or your not ready for. If he truly loves you he will wait until your ready. If he don't he will move on to a girl who will give him what he wants. Just be cautious.

You're 15 and he is 17. If you live in the USA that is illegal. Dont worry if he likes you or not. sorry. But this is coming from a 19 year old. yeah there is only a two year differance, but stick with other 15 year olds.

one of the most common sighns is if he always stares at you like all the time. I think you should just ask him out, but thats just me.

How do we know? You've given no information, and even then it would be difficult. Ask him. If he likes you--great. If he doesn't, move on.

I am a guy and i am fifteen and i am usually more concerned if the girl likes me. usually a guy will drop easy hints like calling you frequently. tempt him and see how he reacts.
if i liked a girl and she tempted me, if i liked her i would respond, if not i would try to avoid the situation.
