You might need to take her to the vet....if you only bathed her 2 days ago and she doesn't have access to stinky stuff whe might have an abcess or something that's making her stink...if the vet gives her a clean bill of health try sprinkling baking soda in her bed or dog house or wherever she sleeps, You can also rub it into her coat and then brush her out real good, that should help alot. If she is a long haired dog you may need to trim her butt hair so she doesn't have "clingons" (another possible source of the odor you are smelling)

She is a dog. Some dogs just stink. My dog is older and she is a little stinky. But she stays fresh for more then 2 days.
What kind of smell is it? just a doggy smell or something strange? Smell can mean infection or other health problem. Dogs also love to roll in whatever they can find. I have 3 dogs that like to roll in ****.
You can get waterless shampoo for in-between bathes.

Have your vet or groomer check both ears and anal glands on this dog. Both are a likely source of odor. If the ears are infected, they smell. If the anal glands are full, they may leak. If she is an older dog, teeth could also be causing the issue. You can check this yourself by looking at her back teeth and seeing if there is a tartar buildup. If she has long hair on her face, the area around the mouth AND the eyes also stays wet. Trim up some of that hair and you will see a huge difference.

Try leaving your dog inside for a while and see if there's any difference. Also next time try washing your dog with a strong scented shampoo. My dogs always stink because their outside pups. But luckily after their baths they always smell good.

Unfortunately, dogs are naturally stinky. I had a Shih Tzu that I used to bathe every other week and within a day of the bath, he stank all over again.
They make special doggie perfumes that are really cheap at petsmart. You can use that to make the dog smell better between baths. Also, try not to let her get her fur wet. That makes dogs stink too.

hi this is natural for your to stink. Dogs are like humans they sweat, have bad body odor, and can smell as a result of food they eat. Don't worry about your dog its fine.
If the smell is too bad to bear, mix there food up and have different things for your dog to eat each day. And some dog sweat heavier than other dogs, so it might be his sweat smelling. And then there is body odour this is what most dog have like humans that can attract others.

we have had several dogs that had the same problem!!! the solutions depended on which dog. rosie was bathed in VERY diluted pinesol (like a cap full for a tub full of water). lily was washed with dawn dish soap. nibbler got doggie perfume put on him, go to petco or even wal-mart.. it's pretty cheap. you just have to find something that works for that specific dogs... and some dogs just plain smell no matter what you do.
good luck

Dogs sometimes get an 'odor' because of what they eat, skin conditions and allergies. Bad teeth can give them a bad smell too.
Could be just your dog's natural scent. Just because its a bad odor doesn't mean that something is wrong. You have a scent to your dog. Sometimes we are unfortuante if that scent is unpleasant to us.

Naturally dogs stink. End of story, but...
It could possibly be that your not fully washing all of the soap out of her fur. It could also be a medical reason so you might want to call up the vet.
