He made a move on me and we messed around for a while - I had feelings, he didn't.

He admitted he would've messed around with another girl we know if given the chance and that really hurt me.

His only explanation for his behavior is that messing around "felt right," he is only attracted to me and doesn't see a relationship with me and he hopes this doesn't ruin our friendship (if anything, he said he would only consider me a fling, yet still claims he cares deeply about me).

Whats up with this? Am I right to feel a bit screwed?

Sure, it felt right to >him< - he got what he wanted. He's a user. Yeah, you should feel screwed! He doesn't care about you as a whole person, just as available booty, which he would like more of, because he can't get the one he really wants. Any old port in a storm, you know. Don't waste any feelings on him.

ummm tough call. If you honestly thought he was interested in a relationship with you and that he had feelings for you, then you have a right to be a little pissed. If you knew he didn't have feelings and you were trying to draw him into a relationship, then you were just asking for it.

Keep in mind that a lot of guys are like that though, and you need to try and find someone who isn't if you're looking for any sort of relationship that has more than sex in it.

Yeah, from the sounds of it, screwed in more than one way. But, then again, he did say you were only a fling to him, so I guess he was being truthful.

Don't be a doormat, honey. You need to have a higher opinion of yourself.
Boys can be silly, leave this one behind.

That's what happens when you let guys take advantage of you. Now he thinks your're easy and you proved that you are.
