He mean that all press is good. The more the better.
Example: Sylvester Stallone's ex-wife Brigitte Nielsen knew she would get press by hooking up with Flavor Flav in tv land. It's the last thing most people would want to do but most people aren't that well known and making that kind of cash for doing nothing else but just being known.
