Does it go on in the morning/afternoon/evening this year (or every year)?
I live on the west coast, and I've always wanted to be in NYC on Christmas day to mingle in the crowd during the city's Christmas parade.
I do want to spend the day with my friends here too though, so I was thinking about booking a plane ticket back home in the afternoon of the Christmas day, so I could catch two birds with one stone if the parade happens in the morning (hopefully!)
I also would like to know when it ends completely.

Oh, and also, if I stay at Marriott hotel in Time Square are, would I be able to see the parade?

Whoops! That was ignorant of me to not know it. How about performances then? What would be THE BEST Christmas performance in the country this year? (something like Ballet Nutcracker would be wonderful!)

There is no Christmas Parade, but you can see if tickets for the Radio City Christmas Spectacular are still available (4 shows on Xmas day). This show has been a tradition here for 75 years.

New York City dose not have a Christmas parade. The only possible place that I can think of a Christmas parade will in Orlando, FL at Disney World.

The Radio City Music Hall, Rockefeller Center and the Felt Forum at Madison Square Garden are the places to visit during Christmas. As far as parades, no Christmas parades in this neck of the woods.

There is NO xmas parade in the city. You could go to Rockerfeller Center and walk around the massive crowds there.

your thinking of the macey's thanksgiveing day parade its held in november on thanksgiving day.
