I depends on the weight. Gold is measured in grams. On a necklace it would depend on the length. Just go 2 a store and check out the prices in Ur area and U will know for sure.

Gold is over $800 an ounce, though 22K is the highest grade used in jewelry, so unless it's REALLY small it was expensive.

Are you sure it's 24K? 24K gold are too soft to make them into jewelries. Typically in US, they use 10, 14, or 18K.
I can't tell you the exact price or even come close to it, since you didn't tell us how much it weighs.
