Macademia Nut Chocolate chip cookies:
INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/3 cup packed dark brown sugar
1/3 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/8 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup macadamia nuts, chopped
1 1/4 cups semisweet chocolate chips
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly grease 2 large cookie sheets with vegetable shortening.
Cream the butter and sugars together in a large bowl. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well blended. Sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually blend into the batter. Stir in the chopped macadamia nuts and chocolate chips. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto the cookie sheets, about 2 inches apart.
Bake in preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the cookies are golden brown. Remove from the oven, and transfer the cookies to cooling racks.

Here is a cookie recipe that my wife developed while she was still in high school. IMNSHO, it is the best Chocolate Chip Cookie ever invented. Lots of other people think and thought so as well. Marcia freely shared her recipe. Then about 10 years later, she picked up a cookbook and found HER recipe attributed to another person. Since then, it has appeared in numerous cookbooks and Marcia still shares it with anyone who asks. So here is the recipe for Marcia's Original Cowboy Cookies. I hope you enjoy them as much as we do.

Marcia’s Original Cowboy Cookies
2-cup flour
1-teaspoon soda
½ teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup shortening
1-cup granulated sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 cups oats
2 cups chocolate chips
1-teaspoon vanilla
Sift flour, soda, baking powder and salt. Cream shortening and sugars. Mix well. Add eggs. Beat till smooth. Mix in dry ingredients. Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees.

I have tried this chocoltae chip cookies which is so easy to do it and it is really tasty and moreover it will be melting in your mouth..
Here is the recipe :
Cream butter(110g),castor sugar(70g) and a pinch of salt for about 3 mins. Add one egg yolk and continue creaming until mixture is combined. Add a few drops of vanilla essence.
Then add flour(70g),cocoa powder(2 tbsp),chocolate chips(70g),and walnuts(50g), and mix thoroughly.
Shape dough into balls and place it on baking trays and press down lightly with two pronged fork.
Bake at 180 degree for 20 mins or until done.
That's all.
It's so easy.
