Ok i need help with this dream (pastors or Bible majors preferably)?

Question

idk its just creapy and i wont to know if it could mean anything because iv been praying for god to do somthing though me
i was standing in front of this hole in like a dark cave and there was this weird statue kind of thing in front of me
on the other side of the whole
and then a voice started talking to me coming from it
and it was saying something like i cant stop him or something and i was arguing back
then i woke up for a sec and it felt really weird in my room and i was sweating and it felt like something was in my room but nothing was there then i fell back asleep and the dream started again from were i woke up exactly
and i jumped in the hole
then i appeared in a place that was all fire and evil looking
then i saw a person that i knew and i grabbed him and ran to were there was a gate and we climbed it and then my mom woke me up
i cant remember who it was that i grabbed before we left
the place

it felt like talking to a demon or evil spirit if you understand what i mean.

OK im a christian people so none of this im guna go to hell stuff.
and noone has died in my family and no one that i knew died before that dream

1. The cave is sin.

"And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil."(John 3:19)

2. The weird statue is your conscience warning you about your sins and the consequences of sin. Your conscience cannot stop you from sinning, it can only warn you about sin. That is why the weird statue said "I can't stop him." You were arguing with you conscience because you are fighting your conscience to do your will instead of Gods'.

"The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:"(1 Pet 3:21)


3. The hole is death and hell. That is why there was fire and evil in the hole. Death and hell is the ultimate end of all mankind except those that have Christ as Lord and Saviour.

"Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged."(Isa 51:1)


4. The person that you knew in the hole is Jesus Christ. Except you lay hold of him you will not escape the hole. The gate is the gate of hell.

"And I say also unto thee, That thou art *Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."(Matt 16:18)

5. The reason you cannot remember who it was that you grabbed is because you have not surrendered your will to Jesus Christ. Even though you knew "the person" in the hole and "grabbed him" to escape the hole, (which is death), shows that you have heard of Christ but not fully accepted Him. He knows you but you don't fully know Him.

"How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;"(Heb 2:3)

You say you've been praying to God to do something through you, then have a dream where you go into hell and save a friend.

It doesn't take a Bible major to figure that one out hon.

If you wish to draw biblical reference from the dream, then you can always say that God was asking you if you are sure you want to go down the road of service like that, because look where you may have to go.

However, I can say that biblically God doesn't give people dreams like that where the meaning is foggy and unclear. The only exception was the king, who was deliberately confused by God so that Joseph could solve it for him and be raised to a high position in the kingdom.

But you ain't the king, and I ain't Joseph, so I'd have to say it was one of those dreams that have to do with you thinking a lot about something and it's on your mind. No biggie.

I think the king represented the devil/demon, since you were in a dark cave. satan is like a statue because he has no power to do anything because he was deemed powerless because of Jesus dying on the cross. he is a liar and was tying to convince you that you cannot stoop him, but you can through Jesus. I am sure that you saw something that represented hell and that Jesus wants to use you to help this person that you grabbed, maybe through intercessory prayer to set them free from going to hell. I would pray and ask God if He would reveal this person to you. I know what you mean about dealing with a demon, this has happened to me before also.

It doesn't sound like a dream that was sent by God if that's what you are asking. A dream from God usually has an angel or something that gives the person a message that they can understand. It could be just a bad dream or it could be that an evil spirit was troubling you while you slept.

It sounds to me when you were in the cave that you were talking to a loved one which has died and they were trying to warn you about Hell. You didn't want to believe them so you were arguing with them. You were allowed to awakened in order to let you know that this was not just another dream then you started your dream just where it left off. You didn't listen to whom ever it was in the cave and so you were sent to Hell. You saw someone you knew who also went to Hell and you both went to the gate to escape and your mom woke you. Since your mother is the one who got you out of this nightmare it may be that the voice in the cave was telling you to listen to something your mother has tried to tell you.

It sounds to me like you were arguing with someone who was not willing to do their part to help getting someone saved, and you took it upon yourself, which I find very interesting because the Bible says that " the GATES of hell shall not prevail against my church!" That`s what your dream sounds like to me! Also, if you`re ever frightened during a dream always remember that you can ALWAYS call on the name of Jesus and the demons must flee!

I think I know what it means. Did someone you know just die? Maybe it's not someone you know actually. Either way it doesn't matter. God wants you to pray for the salvation of someone. That's how I see it. Hope I helped, God bless you.

a statue is represented of an idol. the enemy uses idols to entice people. The question you must seek is what idol do you have or your bloodline.
When you get that answer, the rest should come more easily.
