Stay away! If you find yourself falling for somebody, and that person doesn't feel the same, remember one thing, and it DOES work, 'out of sight, out of mind'. You don't want to fall into that trap where you are in love with somebody that isn't in love with you, it is NOT fun. Do yourself a favor and take this advice seriously.

If it's advisable to do so, of course. You simply don't feed the feeling. Do you think that married people don't have occasional crushes? It can be the end of the marriage if they indulge them. You avoid the crush and turn that energy toward your mate. You can decide how you'll handle a crush, but you can't stop yourself from having crushes. By the way, no matter how powerful the feeling seems to be, there is nothing magical about it and it isn't "true and pure love." It's a reproductive urge, plain and simple. Until you realize that, you don't really have "love;" you have an urge. And you don't even really have that urge, it has you.

Affairs don't start in bed. They start over dinner.

I don't think you can stop yourself from falling in love, but I do think that you can fall out of love.

I think it depends on the person's character. Some people can break off a long lasting relationship in minutes, while others will fall madly in love with someone who happens to just smile at them.

Trying to stop yourself from falling in love with someone is kind of like being a chocoholic and walking in Godiva's.

As for me,emotions are the hardest part to control but then by prayers and asking mentor advice,I guess if it's necessary to avoid yourself from falling inlove then it would mean a big sacrifice

yes use reverse psychology's like find out what you really like about the person that makes you feel like you AFT fall in love with him or her then go into reverse an hate the things in the person instead then wow an behold no love pangs etc you see its a well known fact that reversing certain actions an thoughts do cause the opposite effect to happen

No ,if only it was that simple life would be very happy, if you could chose who to fall in love with there would be no pain or hurt
just pure bliss.
your emotions would be calm and peace full
instead of all over the place.
if you could stop your self then that is not the one you adore

If you avoid the person, yes. But if you spend time together and the spark is there then no. Love is just love and the heart wants what it wants despite what the brain says!

Yeah, you just got to believe in yourself. If its really strong.. You just need to try to let go. Stop talking to that person who you were with.. You can make it through. Anything is possible.
