Do you think this might cause parents to prevent their teen from being in a relationship with a boy/girl?

Another dumb teenage girl, Maybe her mom needed to be more involved with her daughters life. She is A child having a child. She will need a baby sitter for her prom etc, unless she drops school......
Don't mothers teach their daughter that if you have sex, use a condom.

She isn't the first 16 year old to pop up pregnant. . . .She just has a crazy sister. . . and her mom has issues.
As parents, if we guide our children - they will be okay. They will have healthy relationships if we educate them about pre-martial sex and/or SAFE sex.... if the urge is there.
There are millions of 16 year olds having sex. . Jamie Lynn Spears and her partner didn't practice safe sex. . . it isn't the first and won't be the last.

I hate how everyone looks down on teen girls that have a baby. Yes, it was a mistake to have unprotected sex but at least she's facing her mistake and having the child rather having an abortion and acting like it never happened. A large amount of teens have sex these day, they just don't get caught.

my opinion is that im sick of hearing/seeing people talk about what she has done...okay jamie lynn will not go to prom because she will be kicked out of parklane..parklane is a private school and does not accept pregnant mothers..so she will probably graduate early just like britney graduated after 9th grade..and NO THE BOYFRIEND WILL NOT BE CHARGED WITH ANYTHING FOR TWO REASONS...1 she is of the consenting age and 2 her mother nor father is going to charge him with sleeping with their daughter!!

i just feel sorry for her boy friend that might get done for statuary rape because his 19 and she is only 16 my gosh if there gonna have sex yous a condom she nose shes in the public eye how dumb can you get and yes it dose look bad on young girls because people think they have no clue but thank god that not all teen girls are that stupids

I think people need to stop calling teenage girls dumb for making mistakes.
She made a mistake. We've all made mistakes. Hopefully this will encourage parents to talk to their children more about birth control and the consequences of sex.

the parents might not keep them from dating but they might talk to them about it like wat the consequenses are
