It doesn't take much...I am a Christian....I pretty much stay that way. I love the season even if it is not actually the birthday of Christ,,,it does turn some thoughts to him,,who normally would not think about him....and people do seem much nicer to each other,,,and I do like the pretty lights,,even if they have nothing to do with the Christian Christmas,,,,,I also like all the hustle and bustle....I live on the Coast and we just don't move around too much during the year,,,pretty laid back,,so it is fun to see everyone so busy...

Nothing. I have no reason nor desire to want to get in the "holiday spirit," whatever that is, but which seems to including being obnoxiously cheerful over an event which may or may not have happened 2000 years ago and blowing your credit limits trying to impress people, while pushing and shoving and in general proving your deity is nothing to be admired, even if it exists.

1) Try to avoid looking at my bank balance
2) Try not to lose my temper when shopping in the department store
3) Try to remember the time as a child when I used to actually look forward to getting up on Christmas Morning
4) Try not to get irritated by the people who send cards too late for me to send one back before the Big Day
5) Promise myself that next year I am going to spend Christmas with someone I like
6) Watch 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang'

It should happen soon. I need to finish a few things before I decorate. That and playing holiday music usually gets me in the mood.
