March is so unpredictable in NY. You can have days below freezing with strong winds and then have a gorgeous day that reaches 72 the following day. I would check weather.com for averages.

Mostly from the low 50s to low 70s, yet the weather could dip into freezing and snowstorms aren't uncommon in March.

March is where the Weather comes in like a lion and comes out like a lamb. You can not predict the weather as it will be in transition from Winter to Spring. It can be warm and it can snow really bad. Prepare for it all.
