Our neighbor just walked over and GAVE us their 62" tv...that works!! We offered money, but they didn't want it. We want to get them a gift then as a thank you...but we hardly know them. Any ideas?

I think inviting them over for dinner would be a nice way to not only thank them, but get to know them a little. Of course, if that doesn't work well for either side, you can always bake a cake or some cookies....homemade items say "thank you" a lot more than store-bought stuff.

Out of curiosity - I wonder why they would give away a 62" TV in working condition? Maybe they bought something bigger? (Can't imagine who would need anything larger than that unless they lived at the airport...LOL)

Yeah, I'd say bake something for them so they see you really made an effort and not only ran to the store to buy something as a payback..... or you can also take a nice bottle of wine or champagne as a Xmas present for them to enjoy during their dinner. You don't really need to know them to give them any of these presents. Good luck.
