I have posted this recipe before but I really love it. I use Orzo instead of noodles. But here it is. I combine in a large pot Two cans of broth Two boulin cubes Three breasts of chicken (which I boil in a separate pot-then hack apart with two forks on a cutting board) so the chicken is stringy. I then put the water from the chicken pot into the bigger pot. I cut up celery and carrots. I put in a can of diced tomatoes. I also use a can of corn if I have one. I use a quarter to a half box of Orzo. Salt, Pepper, Allspice, Italian Seasoning, two Bay Leaves, and Oregano. While piping hot a grate some Parmesan cheese onto the top. I serve it with a French Bread. Nice on a snowy day. The tomatoes are a must in my mind. They just add so much to the soup I think. I know I try to make my chicken soup into veg. soup but the more I can stuff in there the better I think. At my house this soup is eaten a few times a winter but especially when someone has a cold. This is the feel better meal after getting by that tea and toast phase.

A big old soup spoon to eat it with. LOL I like mine with soda crackers on the side not broken into the soup. The soup is too good to mess up by putting things in it. But I guess if you wanted to herbs would be good.

tarragon, the spice. Can't believe anyone didn't put that down before me. also you can but some thyme and some dill in it just a little bit of those two and a wee bit of some tarragon then dunk your grilled cheese and it's like heaven :-)
