Oh, I'm so sorry. I know exactly how you feel...My golden retriever passed away about a year and a half ago. He made it to 16- just died of old age. It was hard though because we got him when I was 2, so I didn't know what life would be like without him. Time always heals everything though. And of course your dog is in heaven! Your dog's probably playing with mine right now! =D

To document that animals go to "heaven" and this is in the eternity.
But there has been a change, there are no more meat eaters. NO more animals killing animals to survive.

Isa 11:6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.

Isa 11:7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.

Isa 11:8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den.

It will be a safe place for both man and animal. Sorry about your dog.

Be not dismayed as to whether animals go to the higher planes. They do. Each animal is Soul, too, each at a certain stage and level of awareness and development.

Minerals, plants, animals is each a category and has its domains in the other planes just as there exists taxonomy categories denoted in our biologies on Earth.

Simply for now, and for sake of certain lessons required, animals -- and any echelon of life -- they take on and sustain of certain energy and frequency and perception of sentience, and aligned to certain other vortices; this, for the lesser physical shell -- say, a dog -- and codings and signatures and a number of things deriving from out of the high heavens that cannot quite well be explained on YA.

This factor even deludes many students of the mantic arts and sciences, much less is it understood or even known by theologians.

No animals in Heaven Unlike some Human they will never pass this way again. Enjoy them while you can. A friend of Mine had a Golden Lab for 10 years and when it Died he was a wreck for 2 weeks.

My heart goes out to you during this difficult time, to lose a part of your family during the holidays is very difficult especially when it is your best friend too. I believe that all pets go to heaven to be reunited with us later on. They are no longer suffering from any illness' or injuries they had while with us on earth. I believe that they are watching over us, esp. when we finally decide to get another pet. My mom & I both believe that our deceased dogs spirits talk to our pets now and guides them. I look forward to the day that I am reunited with my former four legged friends. Good luck to you are you're family, God Speed.

Sorry to say, i believe animals have no souls. therefore, no they cannot go to heaven or anyplace. Believe me i have looked because we have 3 dogs, 2 cats, and a parrot. all dearly loved. And for all you animal lovers, i am not saying they dont have feelings, or nerve endings, or anything like that. and i am aware they feel pain, but that isnt a soul...they have no conscience. they do as they are trained and taught to do. thats not exactly free will to sin or not, now is it? and even if they had souls. they are not intelligent enough to hear the gospel and choose salvation or not, right?

Heaven would be a lonely place without our faithful companions.
