I went to a local Honda dealer website looking for a honda because i need another car for school, I saw a car i liked for $8995 and I called the dealership for details, now their telling me that the car is $11900 because they just did some kind of service to it and that they will eventually change the price on the website, is this legal to do and is there anything I can do about it.

They have the right to change the price at any time, and you have the right to buy or not buy at the price that they are offering at that time! I am sure that there is something on the site that says that prices can change for any reason!

Prices are raised and lowered all the time. If they told you that they had reduced the price would you be complaining?

You have lost nothing but a phone call! Keep looking for a car you like at a price you want to pay!

FYI, on car websites basically MSRP is listed or asking price on a used. New cars always pull from msrp, if they dealer add's on $4000 worth of product, paint sealant, tint, 22" wheels, it will not be listed on the website being the numvers are pulled automatically.

they can do whatever they want if its still their car. there are so many cars and so many car dealers, that would be the last place I would ever buy a car from.

Bait and switch, that's what I'd call it. I'd call the BBB, or the attorney general.
