Women want equal rights, well I say give it to them. If they marry a sorry no good for nothing man, then the court should step in and make the women keep him up and pay all the bills. Just like they do when the man marries a worthless no good for nothing women.

I don't know. All the women I know have college degrees and earn way more then their husbands. While their husbands are usually fit and good looking but do stuff that don't make any money. Like my friend that is an Industrial Engineering is dating a guy that is a Martial Arts coach and she makes more than twice what he does. It seems like more and more women like being the one that earns all the money in the family and having successful careers and having a good looking trophy husband. Most women now aren't looking for a guy that makes good money and has a solid career.

Your question threw me for a second. If he IS the breadwinner he wouldn't ask you. If he IS NOT the breadwinner, he wants to know if you can support both of you. I find it hard to believe that so many men are asking you this question. You know what else makes men back off? Bad breath. Forget bread, get the mouthwash

Well I never would ask a man that. And I wouldnt expect him to be the "bread winner" although I let my boyfriend pay for more than his share when we go out, he doesnt mind and its because Im still a student and hes a lawyer.

Some people just ask to find out your personal stuff so thay can use you. If you are smart that won't happen. But now days it takes two people to work and make a living if you plan on having children. The cost of houses and rent, medical and ect.

They are supposed to be but they are not living up to it in a lot of cases.
That sounds too bold to ask how much you make.
Some women make more money than men nowdays, though.

Not any more. It's called Equal rights. A women should not expect a man to support her. That's why you hardly ever hear of a so called house wife any more.

They ask because they aren't "supposed" to be anything, not even the sole support of the household.
