There have been mant real bad ones for sure, the one you mentioned has to be the wosrt without a boubt. If it was not for the fact that Tex-Cobb head is solid-bone, he would have been killed. A few others are, Willard-Dempsey, That was the most damaging fight in boxing history. They actualy made Dempsey take his gloves off in the ring because they thought he had horse shoes in them. He broke his jaw in 2 places, knocked out 12 teeth, broke an arm, ear-drum, both eye orbits, nose, and 6 ribs. all that in 3 rounds. another that comes to mind is the Tyson-Berbick fight. Trevor Berbick looked so funny trying to get back up I still laugh thinking of it. Tyson absolutely destroyed him. and the one I really hated to see was the Ali-Holmes fight. That fight should have never even been allowed to take place. I mean Holmes was actually taking breaks from pumelling him and asking the Ref, "Do you want this to continue"? I felt so bad because Ali was just leaning against the ropes and Holmes was just absolutely killing him. I hated to see that happen to such a great man. But he did sign up for the fight, and only one man can win after all. But Ali's management, They knew darn-well he didnt have a chance. Not even a miracle would have helped him. and the beat look in his face after the fight. I just wont ever forget that. Holmes said it was the hardest thing for him to ever do in the ring years later. He loved Ali. It was one of his idols growing up, so that should alone show you the age differance. I think Ali was 46, and holmes was like 26 or 28. Just a disgrace. Anyways, thats my take on it. take Care and God Bless to You and Yours. 1st. Sgt., 7th Special Forces, (Ret.) Vietnam 67-70

Lennox Lewis v David Tua. Tua was widely tipped as the next Mike Tyson and the samolian was gonna destroy Lewis. It turned out, Lennox gave Tua a 12 round boxing lesson, and Lennox never took a serious shot at all in the whole fight. Never heard alot of Tua since that night, I know he's still active, but never been near that rare level of championship material since that night. A close second is the fight when Marco Antonio Barrera battered and dominated Prince Naseem Hamed for each of their 12 rounds.

In answering this question, I would look at the profile of the fight and also the distance the fight went. Yes, Calzaghe-Lacy, as mentioned was one of the most recent one sided fights I'd ever seen.
Another would be Winky-Trinidad, boy that was a clinic on how to box and beat an opponent.

Holmes-Cobb was without a doubt the most one side massacre I ever seen. Most of a young Mike Tyson's bouts were so one sided I wondered how his opponent even deserved to be in the same ring with him. Leonard-Duran II was such a blowout Duran threw his hands up and quit. Ali-Wepner (the basis for Rocky according to Stallone) . There are more but those stand out for me.

When it came to one fighter completely dominating another fighter nobody did it better than Mike Tyson. Michael Spinks was so scared I thought he was going to fall down before the opening bell. Bruce Seldon got KOed by a punch that missed by a foot, but Trever Berbick getting knocked down three times by one punch has got to be Mike's most complete domination. Say what you want about Mike's personal life, prior to Buster Douglas, Mike was special. Sad how he ended up. Thumbs up to KatVic great answer, I never realized how bad Dempsy beat Willard.

Foreman-Frazier I -- when Foreman destroyed Frazier to capture the heavyweight title.
Cobb commented after that fight you mentioned that he would have had a better chance against Holmes if the match was held in a phone booth. Holmes jabbed his way to that convincing win, but Tex didn't quit & kept moving forward (and absorbing punishment).

the best one sided fight has to be calzaghe vs lacy as calzaghe dominated him every single round
another one is
mohammad ali vs floyd patterson 1
ali dominated him for 12 rounds but in truth ali could have knocked him out when ever he wanted it was just that patterson refused to call him mohammad ali and instead called him clay and that pissed ali of it was actually very cruel what ali done to patterson
if you want to find out more about this fight go to google and type in ali vs patterson and there are even videos on youtube showing the fight the fight

Lewis vs Tua. Everyone said Tua coming in had the best left hook in the business. Lewis absoluely destroyed him, although it did go the distance. He broke Tua heart! The other more recent was Kitchco vs Brewster, Brewsters corner threw in the towel
