It seems to me that I remember a bunch of people from England being mentioned in our history books over here in America. They were called the Pilgrims. They came here because of the religious persecution that they endured in England. Haven't you folks made any progress yet? Oh well, no wonder we are still the land of the FREE! God bless America!

Not that I've noticed. The tabloids are still banging on about the 'war on Christmas', but it's more of a cultural than religious thing. Also, a Panorama investigation has demonstrated that a study claiming to prove that Britain's mosques were selling extremist literature contanied fabricated evidence.

The only current problem I see is the continued government backing for faith schools, which can be combated with voter pressure.

Well. Actually, if you check the census commentaries, it is becoming less of a problem. Unless you count Jedis, who experienced a remarkable growth in the 2001 census, from 0 to 0.7%. Scary.

is it a problem? i have a ew friends in the uk and they dont seem to say its a problem only one guy i know keeps complaining about paki muslims

and i hope its not too religious i might move there soon
