how can i find the radio code for my mitsubishi diamante. is there a default code.?

On a card in the book in the glove box, in the audio section. No, there is no default code, you have one specific to your vehicle.

If you don't have the card the dealer can give it to you, with the VIN or you need the serial number from the radio. Happened on my eclipse, but I didn't have the original radio.
