Dear Friend,

Christmas is not and should not be about "giving and getting" ...gifts. Jesus "IS" the most precious and priceless gift ...ever given to humanity.

Should Christians choose to celebrate CHRISTmas, it should be done, not by all the glitter of the tree and the rustling of unwrapping gifts. Jesus Christ "IS" our gift! Christians should be "sharing" the gift of JESUS and the salvation He offers this time of year and throughout the year. Everyday, should be CHRISTmas.

Sincerely in Christ Jesus,

lostnsavd...

What you do unto the least of these, my little ones you do unto me. I will get a present if you deliver it to a poor needy child. Wait just point me in the right direction and I will deliver it myself.

When my wife was younger she used to always bake Jesus a birthday cake on Christmas.

He never showed up to blow out the candles, though.

it's impossible to physically give my present. i think the best present we can give him during this season is respect towards others, going to mass, and praying for and aiding those marginalized and suffering around the world.

The greatest gift one can give Jesus is to love God and to others as He loves us. He gave us two main commandments. One is to love God above all, and the second is to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. All the other commandments are derived from these two GREAT commandments.
