The bible says that with the return of Jesus Christ, the dead in Christ will be raised. I'd assume this means that yes, dead bodies will be raised from the grave. But on the other hand, when studying the Bible, you can't take everything you read literally. This may simply mean that those who believed in God and died will be taken up in the rapture befor all others. This has been a question of interest for many hundreds of years, and as of yet, no one has been able to give a definite answer.

According to "Night of the Living Dead," no. You cannot reverse the decay. However the flaw here is once dead for a brief time all of the cells die from lack of oxygen and nutrients so if some supernatural force is causing this undead to walk, a "brain shot" to kill it is ridiculous because a dead brain might as well be a dead foot.

The body begins to decompose even waiting to be buried and each day while buried the decomposition increases. So the clothes may last a while but, you know, not long.

According to the Bible, yes. Ezekiel saw bones being clothed with flesh and made alive. Jesus resurrected Lazarus who was 4 days in the grave and was smelling bad.

If you don't want to believe this miracle then you should also dismiss all other miracles Jesus performed.Miracles also take faith.Without faith, christianity is meaningless. They are called miracles because they defy human expectation.....they are divinley inspired...through spiritual power.....(other words for Miracle include: Marvel, wonder, prodigy, phenomenon)...Plus if christ was raised from the dead then why would it not be possible for him to raise a human from the grave back onto the earth.?

Obviously not.
But Christians will say yes because they read about some miracle in the little book of fairytales.
The LEGEND lives on.

this is in the wrong topic. Has nothing to do with religious fairy tales. You need to re-post this in Zombies 101.

it can be done, the problem is keeping them from glowing in the dark or feasting on human brains.

That would be called a miracle. If miracles happened all the time they would not be noteworthy. The very definition of miracle is something that breaks the rules of nature, to which we are accustomed.

Yep, seeing isn't always believing...That is what faith in Christ is, you can never have faith in him and expect to have everything confirmed and see it. Plus he is the son of God, I doubt he wasn't fed on by maggots.
