I do! I mean I think as long as we are mature and have a desire to learn we should be able to attend unless its an inappropriate topic for women or something. I mean I understand there might be a few topics the men don't want us to hear because of modesty but I think most we can, you know? I am not trying to be a feminist either. I mean I understand men can get frustrated with women when they give their opinion at Bible studies b/c it can come off as feminist but atleast let us sit there and listen, you know? I want to know what others think. Maybe I am missing something as to why we shouldn't.

I think there is room for all three -- all men, all women, and both. That's how it works at my church. I went through a large list of small groups, and many of the men-only groups were on "sexual integrity," which I found interesting.

Why shouldn't they... If women are still being controlled like that in this day and age, the people doing it should be ashamed of themselves.

"I mean I understand there might be a few topics the men don't want us to hear because of modesty..."

But why... Women are not children and should not be treated as such.

I am not even a believer, but I will say this. For so long many religions had views in regard to women, the church/temple, and the fact that women have periods. Women couldn't/can't be in on some things, AND YET those men who wrote those religious books and think women should be kept out of things sound like they were sure into OUR business!

It's modern times, and I for one am not living in the middle east or anywhere else that has a mentality of centuries ago. Any man that can't take a woman having an opinion either needs to grow up or go build a time machine and get the heck out of the 21st century because he certainly doesn't belong here.

To have advanced Bible studies should be together unless
there is something that only men should be subject too;

However, I do not believe a woman should Pastor a Church. The reason for that is Biblical, A man is suppose to be head of the home, working to provide and to be the head for God in teaching and/or preaching, right from wrong and Praying and Bible study within the home.

A woman should take care of the children if there are any, prepare meals and to teach the children right from wrong, Praying as well. She should be a Godly woman, dress like a lady not to be provocative, keep the household running smoothly.

My Motto:
When you put God first in your home and family second then the rest will fall into place.

The Bible doesn't say anything about stopping women from learning all that they can. It only says that they shouldn't be the authority when it comes to teaching what the Bible has to say. It sounds like the place where they are having "advanced" Bible studies needs to do a little advanced study themselves to see what the Bible really has to say about women learning.

There is nothing in scripture which prohibits women from attending any Bible class. However, she cannot teach over a man. She may teach children and other women, but she cannot take the man's place in adult Bible class or in the pulpit. As for attending, that's the only way to learn, but just remember your place in the church.

Women should be free to attend any and all Bible studies a church offers UNLESS it is specified For Men only or For women only due to sensitive subject matter..

So how does it feel to be inferior? That whole idea makes me sick, what absurd ignorance on the part of a church. What holier than thou methodology is that?

As a women I would walk right into their men only study and tell them to kiss my ____s. I'd get out of that church of ignorance in single second and make plenty of noise in doing it. Picket the whole church, get the women together and start the picket signs going. Go for it.

Women stand up and be counted - you have to stop letting men handle you with their superiority. Nonsense. Absolute nonsense.

Do you mean to tell me there is still segregation being practiced in the U.S.? Not to mention the fact that you appear to have been brainwashed to believe there is something wrong with being a feminist. There is nothing wrong with women voicing their right to equality. If I were you I'd definitely be looking for another church at the least. Another faith would probably be better. One that doesn't discriminate against more than half the population.

In JWs both women and children attend all Bible studies. There is no clergy laity class and women are not excluded from learning or preaching.

Sounds like the men of your church are treating the women like children.
