How can i tell my dad that i have a boyfriend? My dad is in fighting in Iraq and the only means of communication is either through email or on the telephone. The thing is my dad still wants me to be his little girl. Advise?
My boyfriend is one of the most amazing guys I've ever met. He's hilarious and can always brighten my day. We are both band geeks ;] and he plays soccer.

Just tell him, there's really no way around it, just be honest with him and tell him everything you just mentioned here. Your dad will be happy that someone is making you happy. Good Luck!!!!

Call him on the phone when you boyfriend is with you then tell him dad there is someone i want you to meet i just wish it could be in person and you and your boyfriend both talk to your dad on the phone!

just tell him say hey dad when you come back i want you to meet my boyfriend
act like theres nothing wrong of course he's going to be protective every dad is or at least should be its like in their book that they get when their born (haha)be calm and don't say it like your scared to tel him
