5 years with him...My first real Love.
I lost my virginity to him, he lost his to me.
He was my first everything really.
We moved in together finally, after dating for 4 1/2 years...
and it all fell apart.
He got controlling...Didnt like me going out.
He now tells me it was because he didnt want to risk someone trying to take what he had...
It happened.
He hit me.
It wasnt the first time...
My heart aches, knowing that i lost my best friend in the whole world for a stupid sl*tty thing one night.
People say "then you two werent in love"
But it seems, like how he used to make me feel, It can never EVER be replaced by anyone else.
I just want to curl up and go to sleep, never wake up again.
He went to jail for hititng me, my manager called the cops at work...it happened at work...everything started at that stupid place. Now my best friend in the whole entire world, the one guy i could always run to no matter what, never wants to talk to me again.
Life can really blow.

I know it is heart-wrenching. Go ahead and feel whatever you need to feel. Yes, you DO want to fall in love again at some point in time, because ultimately, no one wants to be alone. But right now is healing time, so do what you have to do. Good luck in this, and Happy Holidays.

Please find a way to make amends with your best friend he is probably hurting to see you go through this. I once had a best friend Tomeka who went through same thing with an abusive awful boyfriend - I should of beat that guy up but I stayed away and now I wish I had done something. Think about days as one at a time and you will find some guy again in time.
