Nope, I wouldn't really be bothered, but it would 'hit' me! Probably would take me time to realize that she has grown up!!!

Im not a parent im 14, i first wore mascara at 13 and my parents never said a word, but my 13 year old friend (matilda) wears mascara and her parents dont care but they also let her wear anything, skip meals and go out whenever, her 10 year old sister (lydia) also wears makeup and when we were in town Lydia put makeup on her 9 year old friend (iona) (who doesnt usually wear make up) and we went into where ionas sister works and she was shocked took her inside and wiped it all off, different people have different views.

Ionas family think shes too young ( i agree) i also think lydias too young, but i think matilda and me are ok

Depends on how old she is. I know I was a teenager once and I wanted to wear makeup. Its just part of growing up being a girl. I would put a limit on it though. But no, I would not feel bothered. I think its normal.

My Mom was the first one to buy me makeup. I was like 13 and she bought me mascara, lip stick, eye shadow, and blush. She just wanted me to be able to feel pretty and it was her way of acknowledging that I was becoming a woman. I never wore makeup before that and rarely do to this day.

It woild not bother me, but if it bothers you, take her out to a department store and get her makeup done by one of the women there. They can help her choose colors that look natural on her, and you don't have to worry about her looking too much like an over-made-up clown. Wearing makeup is a right of passage.

No...in fact this would be a perfect opportunity to teach a daughter the proper way to apply makeup so it brings out her best features instead of looking like a tramp on the street corner.

No, not at all. Mascara is not a big deal, especially if shes a teenager. Most teens wear ALOT more make-up than that.

We allowed our daughter to wear make-up starting at age 14. But we took her to Merle Norman and had an expert show her how much to wear and what colors to use etc, etc. It was well worth the 50 bucks we paid as she never wears too much and looks beatiful, not made up. Still, it took some getting use to as I still see her as a little girl.

Depends on how much, where she is going, and what age she is. But my answer pretty much is no. My daughter is 3 and I put make-up on her all the time. It's cute and fun and I won't ever give her strict rules about make-up but teach her how to put make-up on properly so she never looks like a clown.
