One question aout God can bring up so many different responses. However I has noticed that a lot of people react with fear and withdrawal when they speak about God almost as if they are afraid to speal about him in a bad way. That of course leads them to codemn people who don't beleive to a life of eternal damnation. Why are people so afraid?

Who...oh the fictional friend...yeah whatever, I guess they think they'll be hit by lightning or something...fear certainly keeps people in check and enslaved.

PROVERBS 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
PROVERBS 9:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
Why is "the fear of the Lord" the beginning of knowledge and wisdom?
Acknowledging God is wise means that we turn to Him for guidance in the everyday decisions we make at home, in school, and as we have fun with our friends. Fear of the Lord motivates us to obey God's commandments, and obedience to them constitutes true wisdom". Christians do NOT condemn anyone. We merely "inform" you of your impending fate if you so blindly choose to continue in a path of self destruction.

Havent you read in the Bible where the earth opens up and swallows people who made God angry.What about the weeping and nashing of teeth? Speaking badly of God is dangerous for a multitude of reasons. Why would someone want to do it? I dont know.Im thankful he gave me life and family. Read the Bible the whole way through and dont think of it as fairytale book its not. In the Bible Godfearing is a rightous thing.He wants respect if you dont give it there are untold and told consequences. You will suffer.

The condemnation people feel is because of their deeds, it doesn't come from the person telling them about repentance and forgiveness of sin.
If they would follow the conviction of their hearts they would receive a love of God and peace that passes understanding.

Hard to be afraid of something that doesn't exist.
It's more realistic to be frightened of those who do things in the name of god.

Be cause their faith is weak and most of the reason why its weak is because they don't make a stand and speak of the one they say they believe in JESUS.
