I would guess LA valley college would be your best bet. Definately cheaper to take at a community college than private tutoring.

The Berlitz Program in Woodland Hills is wonderful - not cheap - but you go there to quickly learn a foreign language. The classes are very small and you learn fast.

Also - the Rosetta Stone Computer Program Language course are amazing. Our school uses them for ESL students as well as the students who are learning Spanish, French and Latin.

i believe valley has russian classes
you might also want to try santa monica college, it's the best community college in the city.
