I was diagnosed with cancer. An operation would either get it or not. If not I would die a slow painful death and I had already made up my mind to commit suicide with a shotgun if that were the case. Had the operation. Woke up in a room alone at night, in serious pain, and buzzed for a nurse. Two young women came and connected me to a morphine machine. Some time later a young black man came in to empty the trash. He stopped at my bedside and asked if I was in pain. I showed him the machine and said no. He asked then what is worrying you and I told him that I feared the pain before dying. He took my hand and told me I wasn't going to die from cancer and that I should spend my thoughts on healing. He left. I felt some peace. Doctor came next day to say they didn't have the results of the operation. That night the young man returned and we talked. I learned his name was James and that he had a family and was working so he could support them and go to college. When he learned I hadn't go the lab results, he told me not to be troubled. That I wasn't going to die from this cancer and that I should keep working on healing. He put his hand on my head and held my left hand in his. Then he left to finish his custodial duties.

Next day, my Doctor returned and confirmed that I was cancer free. A couple days later I was released and went around to thank all the staff for being to nice and taking care of me so well. I asked if they would thanks James for me but they said there was no night shift custodial staff because it disturbed the patients too much. I told them what he looked like and that he'd come in my room to empty the trash twice but they insisted there was no such person on the staff.

I knew that I'd had a messenger from God to end my suffering and fear and heal me. You can say what you like but I was there.

I experienced a miracle when I met this mormon guy. Back then, I didn't know what was right or wrong. At first I thought he was annoying because he preached about god and this and that. He's only 16 and yet he's like a very old man. Later, I sought him without knowing it. I did not believe in god back then because i was very angry about him letting my parents divorced and just feeling sorry for myself. I was 5 years old and yet my hair turned white because of the stress in my house. I started to believe in god because of him. And when he left this world, I was devestated but instead of going back to the way I was, I still believed in god and understood. I believe that he was god's messanger although I had never wanted him to go away even though I hated him for just leaving me like that. I valued his opinion above others even my own parents.

I swear he was the greatest miracle that ever happened in my life.

I have experienced many miracle's, and , no, I was not looking for them. If you allow the Holy Ghost to guide you, you will witness many miracles also. I have seen children healed to convince their parents to be baptised. I have seen cripples walk. I have seen people at the door of death be brought back to full health. And many more.

I'm still breathing, because of the life-style I've lived, that's a miracle by itself, that's when I excepted life on it's own terms. (SMILE)

Those who experience or witness a miracle are most often those who specifically set out to find them. Funny, no?
