Best choices are:

Susurrus - as a noun
Susurro, susurrare - as a verb

Musso (mussito), mussare (mussitare) would translate better as 'mutter' than 'whisper'.

Latin For Whisper

There are a couple of words:

-Mussare (to whisper) 1st Conjugation; to mutter/whisper with discontent

-Murmur (Whisper, as a noun) 3rd Declension; a whisper

-Mussitare (to whisper) 1st Conjugation; to speak quietly

Depending one how you want to say it

I whisper - Musso or Mussito
You whisper - Mussas or Mussitas
He/She/It whispers - Mussat or Mussitat

We whisper - Mussamus or Mussitamus
Y'all (many of you) whisper - Mussatis or Mussitatis
They whisper - Mussant of Mussitant

I hope this helps =)
