The past few weeks, I am receiving porno emails and I want them to stop. I do not know how they are coming to me and I want them to stop. I did reply to one and said, do not send this smut and trashy stuff to me anymore. I just want them to stop. I enjoy emailing friends and family and they are clean and this is why I have a computer. I am an artist and I love to create cards and crafts. Gift bags and such. Merry Christmas to all.

You made a big mistake when you replied to one. That comfirmed you your email address is active and now it will be sold on to other spammers.
You have only two options if you use web based email, just mark all of them as span as they come in or get a new email address and never post it in any public forum. Spambots regularly trawl the internet collecting enail addresses.
These emails often contain viruses so make sure you never open one again.
If you have an email address from your ISP you can use an email program like Pegasus that will allow you to automatically block email from any email address you don't have on your address list.
You could also set it up to sort your email into folders as it arrives and simply direct email from known addresses into a file you read and just ignore your inbox.
My husband had this happen to him and after 2 years of just ignoring everything they finally stopped (well stopped is relative, he gets 2 or 3 a month now, he was getting dozens every day). He knows now it does no good to reply and say stop sending this junk.
I learned to at least amuse myself laughing at some of the titles of the emails he was getting.

I suggest that you do not open anything that is sent to you from a stranger or company that you are not familiar with.

I send this to the spam section on my computer (depends on your settings). Works for me.

Good luck.

Some real brainless out there.

Take care.

Kay,

The other posters are correct in that you should block them and report them as spam.

One piece of advice that I can give is never, ever respond to spam/junk e-mail. It will put a bull's-eye on your account as one that's active ... and more will come.

It's difficult to get them to stop because they come across with different names so your junk mail can't recognize them. Ignore them. Certainly don't answer. These things come and go so you may not get them forever. Delete them and move on.

It's a mistake to reply to them. Just thrash them without opening.
