"True" Christians do not dislike Wiccan people. We love everyone with the love of God. I believe most Wiccans are sincere people, many tired of organized religion. I think God is also disgusted with most religion. I always remind folks that salvation is NOT found in a religion, it is found in a person—Jesus Christ. Religion is man’s manipulation of the truth, we must follow God’s Word—the King James Bible. Wicca is evil and should be avoided and condemned. Their is no merit in anything that leaves out Jesus Christ. “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

I could turn that question around and ask the same thing, why do wiccans and pagans "dislike" christians, all I hear about is how christians took over christmas and about how are God is a myth. I could go on,but I,m sure we all have seen what they have to say, christians are supposed to have respect for other religions but yet anyone that believes in something other than God,cuts God down and are way of life,so in other words they make a mockery out of christians and we,re supossed to be happy with that? A true wiccan does not run around in all black saying vodoo this and that, wiccans are ordinary people with a belief.so if people are not liking you for being a wiccan, you must be ridiculousy advertising the fact that your some great witch, when your not,

I'm not sure it's the person but the practice. I'm a Christian but not all my friends are and in fact one of them is Wiccan and I became friends with him for a completely different reason than the religion he practiced. Some people are just very passionate about what they believe and have made up their mind of how you would respond to them before they even spoke with you. That's too bad you have had that experience as to share the gospel is to share the love that goes around with it. I may not agree with the wiccan doctrine but with my friend and I we share information so that we can learn about what each other believes so we can grow together as friends.

Because Wiccans aren't Christian, and from early on Christians are drilled that there is only one way, and that's their way, and if you don't follow it you are damned.
Now, they have to worry about their kids turning away from God and going to Allah or the Great Mother, or any other non-Christian religion.
Also, it is now not possible for their religion to be spread in masse in public schools, and they have to consider other religions. I think they resent this somewhat.
Wicca and pagan religions most so because it deals with a concept that predates Christianity, and that is the worship of more than one God or Goddess. That seems very wrong to a Christian. The practice of folk magics further cause distrust.
They don't understand, and they don't want to because they believe Wiccans are deceived by demonic sources.

I am Wiccan, and I guarantee that if Christians hate you before they talk to you, it's not because you're Wiccan.
They couldn't know you were a Wiccan without talking to you, dear.

Because some Christians are very insecure in there life, they don't know how to question years of doctrine. When they see someone who has gone outside the norm it makes them uncomfortable. Most people don't like there lot in life, they don't believe in everything that goes with what there culture tells them. Some men don't like there jobs, some women don't like to sit around doing the expected things. For them to see anyone buck the system, something they don't have the courage to do with small things makes then angry, because they see Religion as a big thing. How dare you, someone that is not them, do something so big? Then they hide behind trying to witness to you and save your soul. I am not going to apologies to you of the witnessing. But I will apologies for the way it is done. We are suppose to live the word, and let others see our example. but if they attack you, they are not giving a good example.

There's your answer. Christians don't like anyone who doesn't believe exactly what they tell you to. With Pagan religions it's even worse because they have spent the last 2000 years trying to wipe us out and haven't been able to succeed. I don't think that there is really a true logical answer, because their hatred is totally illogical. WE have never persecuted them, I have never heard of pagans burning Christians or torturing them, or even trying to make them convert. Anything different than what they have been taught is evil and because they stole most of their ideas from Pagans in the first place I think that they have some kind of inferiority complex when it comes to us. Oh yeah and we're all going to burn in hell to, at least according to them.

Oh, several just reject the beliefs of anyone that doesn't believe like them.
PS: Plenty of Wiccans dislike Christians. Can't say I fault them for that.

For the same reason that Christians tend to dislike everybody else. Because they feel there is only one way in life and that's well, there way.

They feel threaten when people of another faith are consistently friendly, compassionate, polite and caring, all without the threat of hell. They feel threatened when they can't accuse another faith of all the atrocities that the Christians have been guilty of. If they can't point out your faults, how are they going to convince people that might makes right so they must be right, or that majority rules so they must be right, or any of the other techniques they use for scaring people into joining them.
