If you are asking about "saved" in the religious sense, I think that is a word that has been used in the church so long that it has lost alot of its original meaning. Now a days most of the time you will only receive pat answers that seem a mere shadow of what the word was originally meant to signify. In Christianity, the term "saved" is referring to the basic presupposition that people are fragile, that the human race has strayed from what its purpose is, and that humans fundamentally are in need of divine guidance and blessing. St. Augustine said that "our hearts are restless until we find our rest in Thee.'' The idea is that people are meant to live in harmony with God. When that occurs it also produces harmonious effects on our relationships with ourselves, others and the world. In Christian theology, Jesus came into the world to show it what God is like and what it means to also live a fully human life. In the general sense, being "saved" is being set free from a life lived only for yourself. You are set free to take part in a bigger story.

Accept that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior and live a Godly life. You still won't be perfect, but in everyday you live to do better and please the Lord. Once you ask Christ to come into your life through prayer it is a fresh start for you, a clean slate. Forgiven...
Ps. You don't have to be baptized to be saved. That is a beautiful outward decleration of your salvation. You go under the water as your old self and come out of the water cleansed by the blood of Christ all your old sins washed away. You are a new creation in Christ.

Being saved is when you realize that you need help in your life. It's when you ask Jesus Christ to come into your life. After Adam and Eve, Sin came into the world. Humanity would be punished by being wiped away, but instead, Jesus came, as a sacrifice that we might all have life. When you Just say with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, then you are Saved. Also, When you say with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, you go to Heaven. That's really the only thing you need to do to go to Heaven, is to be saved.

The only way to be saved and go to heaven and not eternal hell is by believing that Jesus, who is God, died for our sins on the cross and rose again (1 Corinthians 15:1-4).

Ask Jesus Christ to come into your heart and ask for forgiveness of your sins and forgive people the same.
I attached a really cool TRUE STORY movie about an atheist who died and lived to tell about meeting Jesus. This will help you. It is awesome. Comes in 9 parts and is about 30 minutes in total ... I attached part one.

That depends, what you are seeking salvation from and for?
If you are seeking eternal salvation, pray a sinner's prayer. Acknowledge you are a sinner, repent, and ask Jesus to come into your life.
It is really simple. Best of all, it is free, the debt has already been paid in full.

Well I usually click file then 'save as' then put it in My Documents. But if you were referring to being saved you have to ask the LORD GOD JESUS CHRIST to be your LORD GOD and SAVIOR, be baptized and Believe God raised Jesus Christ from the dead.

THREE STEPS TO GAINING GOD'S MERCY
"I was shown mercy ,because I was ignorant and acted with a lack of faith," wrote Paul .[1 Tim 1:13] His frank expressions brings us to the-
*FIRST STEP required for God's forgivenesss--lifting the veil of ignorance by getting accurate knowledge of Jehovah and his standards as outlined in the Bible .[2 Tim 3:16,17] To be sure , we can please our Creator if we know him well."This means everlasting life," said Jesus in Prayer to his Father, and of the one you sent forth,Jesus Christ."-
[Jn 17:3]
When honesthearted ones gain gain that knowledge, they deeply regret their past wrongs and are moved to express heartfelt repentance.-
SECON STEP-[acts3:19]:"repent, therefore ,and turn around so as to get your sins BLOTTED OUT."
This verse also mentions the-
THIRD STEP -To turn around means to abandon one's old ways and attitudes and adopt God's standards and viewpoints.[Acts 26:20]A person shows by his new way of life that he really means it when he says to God,"I am sorry."
Knowledge is the beginning of wisdom.

be born.
salvation is part of that package. it is what we do after our births that jeopardizes our salvation. but you can get it back: while ignoring christian hype, simply check into that voice of morality that beats within all our hearts and follow its advice with reckless abandonment.
