I find it even more ironic that christians delude themselves into thinking they belong to a religion of peace.

Yes, it is a mystery. His first coming brought discord though He arrived very peaceably. His second coming will bring peace though He will arrive with an army. The things of God are a mystery to most, but the Holy Spirit reveals what He wants us to see. His thoughts are not our thoughts and His ways are not our ways. How often has He used the weaker things to defy the strong? He is magnificent. He is God.

What I find ironic is that the most violent people around are fundamentalist Christians and Muslims.

It is not ironic... three religions started there and are still there, so there is conflict.

considering the history of the bible god, i wouldnt be surprised.

edit: i mean, considering the "morals" of the ones who invented him, it wouldnt surprise me.
