Did you evern think about a goose down comforter?

It is pricey around the $200 range but it's a 100% white and it keeps you really warm all seasons of the year.

Nothing elaborate and snobby, you want down home cuddly---A poly fill, full size- cotton comforter; a quilted one, so that the poly fill is puffy and doesn't shift to one end when washed. Not so big, so you can pull it all around you without allot of weight and bulk--but it's soft and cuddly and not cold and slick like satin and not rough like a brocade, just an ordinary Target, Wal-mart comforter, to wrap up in and trudge into the living room with and it's your "blanki" that always makes you feel good!

Bed, Bath, and Beyond. Or Montgomery Ward.

I've even seen a few nice sets in various department stores.
