Somebody please tell me there's a god?

i've never heard one convincing arguement. so somebody please let me know how or why theres a god

If you want to see an answer for God, there is not one. God is not something we can see, touch, smell, etc. He is like the wind. We cannot see the wind. What we see is those things affected by it. Why hear the leaves in the tree rustling as the wind blows through them. We see the dust kicked up as the wind carries it.

We cannot see God, but we can see how he affects the lives of others. For every tragedy we read of on the net and watch in the TV there are stories that are unexplainable without God. I have a friend who fell asleep behind the wheel and was hit by a train. The ambulence was called but were told not to worry as it was not possible for anyone to survive. As they into his car, he woke up. He had a few scrapes and bruises and some glass in his eye.

Furthermore, there are many more evidence for God in nature itself. Check out the the website listed below. Paul in Rom. 1 said we only need to look at nature and see God. Every morning I see the sunrise and watch a beautiful painting created right before my eyes. Yet, men call it a long series of accidents. But when Picaso paints a masterpiece they call it genious.

He exists outside of your belief in Him. Even if you believe He does not exist, He does. I am not going to try to convince you - it is 11:30 and my brain isn't working right now! LOL All I know is that He has proven Himself to me again and again. He has kept His promises, He has answered my prayers, He has saved my soul and forgiven my sins. I know He is real because He lives inside me, and I can talk to Him and He to me whenever and wherever I want.

It's kinda like how the earth is round. Even back when people believed that the earth was flat, it was still round. God exists even if you and everyone else don't believe it.

Why don't you ask God to prove Himself to you?

if there was no God i would be dead by now. i once ran in front of a car and he turn his head and stoped just in time. and many other things have happen. my sister was driving and it was very windy and a truck drove by and there was so much wind her car fliped lucky the car wasnt on fire and she could get out the broken window with only a sprained hand. if that wasnt God then i dont know why me and my sis are living.

God is irrelevant.

Science and history prove that the universe could evolve naturally, morality doesn't come from divine revelation, miracles do not happen, and visions of the afterlife are really hallucinations generated by the human brain. There is no remaining purpose for God.

Have you not heard the arguments of Design, the complexity of DNA, the fact that you have a conscience as proof that there is a God?

There is also proof that the bible is God's word. 1) The Jews are still around today. They are the oldest group of people in all existance, and most of the bible comes from their writings. 2) Historically the bible is completely accurate. There are thousands of ancient documents that have been dated to hundreds of years BC, which shows their accuracy. You can visit museums throughout the world and see them for yourself. 3) The ancient writings of the old testament prophecy the birth, life and death of Jesus of Nazarath. There are over 200 unique prophecies written over a thousand years of time that were fufilled by Jesus. 4) The Disciples testified to the accuracy of the life and death of Jesus and were each crucified because they would not relent the name of Jesus.

Of course there is the evidence of millions of changed lives as well who were once drug addicts, murders, etc, and were completely forgiven and their lives went from serving sin to serving others.

The bible says seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened... When you surrender your life to Christ and forfeit your sins, you'll be changed and the darkness that you walk in will turn to light so that you will be able to see the truth. Until that time, you'll just look for superficial evidence and find reasons not to believe.

Find the man who divides human history and the basis for our time and he will show you truth.

of course there is a god ...one reason ppl dont think there is bc of all the bad things gone on and they ask themselves if there is a god why would he be letting all this bad stuff happen ,the answer bc god is letting saint control the world to prove to saint he could never rule the world better than him thats why so much bad stuff is happening but thats going to change bc if you read and study the bible you would know thats about to change jehovah is about to take back the world and he promise that everyone that obey and worship him and only him will make it to pradise where they never have to worry about ppl dying and suffering ever again and saint know his day of ruling the world is about to come to an end so things are going to get more and more worster and saint is going to try to get as many ppl as possible to come to his side and some ppl already have

I pray, even when I don't believe there's a God. Try it! Just start out with, "God, if there is a God, please...........whatever you feel like saying". And see what happens. I'm not saying anything will, but it works for me. Sometimes I believe in God, sometimes I don't. But I still pray anyway, and I seem to get very good results. (I'm not saying that I ask God to give me stuff either.)

I hear ya, I can't see where God has ever been in my life. Maybe he's there but some of us are left out. That's the way I see it, all depends on if your chosen to or not, nothing to do with how you carry yourself or try to be in life.

there are at least 18 million witnesses of jesus. not to forget the other millions who have seen mother mary.

i myself was at prayer trying to do my own version of a solemn assembly, and a spirit appeared behind me and layed his hands on my head.
i saw an angel appear in my bedroom. i thought it was jesus and asked for forgiveness becaue i thought i had missed the rapture.
i got up from my bed and walked into the next room and saw a spirit standing above the ground to where his eyes were hidden by the door header.
but during the same visit at my fathers house where i received a laying on of hands by a spirit, i asked to be given the "gift" of the holy ghost, and during that same time, i opened my eyes and beheld the glory of jesus christ. again i opened my eyes and was in the presence of jesus, and again, i had dream/visions of jesus doing things i have already described.

yes there is a God, i have seen jesus, so i know its all true.
but i also know that people can practice sorcery and create dillusions and halucinations where people think they talk to god. The first visions outweigh the sorceries and mind control devices which ihave also experienced on several levels

of course there is a God! Evil is the absence of good and God. Look at all the blessings in your life.. that is God! If you ask for His help, He is more than willing to do so. Maybe you haven't encountered Him because you never gave Him the chance...
