It saddens me to hear you say you think so. The lives of godly Christians are never represented in the American media, or if they are, only the worst aspects of some individuals are selected for exposure, in a deliberate effort to ruin the reputation of those who do honor God with all their heart. I am a so-called "fundie," and I have nothing in common with the inhabitants of Springer-land, other than we happen to occupy the same continent.

Yes, I live in America, and no all American christians do no act like those buffoons on the Jerry Springer show.

How can you stereotype American Christians? There are over 1,500 Christian denominations in North America alone and they range in their theology greatly. Some Christians are very quiet, others more vocal. Some don't proslytize, others are hitting the streets "witnessing" every night. Some are not politicals. Others are very political. Please don't mix right extreme wing conservative fundamentalism or how Hollywood tries to depict Christians as with real Christianity.

That's like asking if everyone in your country is Muslim, and if are all of them terrorists...and anyone with sense knows that such a question would be silly and extremely xenophobic.

FTR I happen to know that the country of Lebanon also has various religious groups living there. According to the 2006 CIA World Fact Book, Lebanon entry, it gives the following distribution:

Muslim 59.7% (Shi'a, Sunni, Druze, Isma'ilite, Alawite or Nusayri),

Christian 39% (Maronite Catholic, Greek Orthodox, Melkite Catholic, Armenian Orthodox, Syrian Catholic, Armenian Catholic, Syrian Orthodox, Roman Catholic, Chaldean, Assyrian, Copt, Protestant),

other 1.3%

Not all americans are christians just a lot of them but many other Americans that aren't any other religion are just spiritual or neither of them. And not too many people act like the people on Jerry Springer because they just get the people to act like that to get onto television.

Yikes, no! Of course, I haven't spent much time in the south or West Virginia in particular, but still I'd find it hard to believe that many Americans of any kind are like the guests and audience of Jerry Springer.

A decent Christian person would not be caught on the Jerry Springer show.

I live in America, and I'm more like Jerry Springer himself, then his guests. I exploit the stupidity of the average person to fill my pockets with money.

Yes they sure are. They devote a majority of their life to spending time in a church listening to a preacher talk about how they are all "horrible and sinful" and how they need to be kind to one another and other who are less fortunate or different but the minute they walk out those doors and the nostalgia wears off (Most likely after having lunch at luby's or some other restaurant and only tipping the poor waitress like 50 cents) they go right back to stabbing each other in the back, talking down to people who are different and preach about how "holy" they are even though religious people are some of the most notorious people to be covered up with vices, depression and a false sence of reality. Shame shame on all the people wasting themselves and others over simple beliefs that cannot be proven.

Yes, but people like the guests in Jerry Springer don't have internet, so don't expect them to answer your questsion.

Proof is in the pudding. How do you think George Bush was elected president twice?
