It takes some of them a lot of time to accept things that go against their beliefs, i.e a spherical Earth and Galileo's discoveries etc, etc.
They are dogmatic. They also think that morals are something invented by their 'god'.
"There is evidence to suggest that it is possible dinosaurs did not exist."
Tom Bailey, that is an Awesome Claim. Where is the evidence?

Most of the correct ideas about science that were opposed, did not contradict the Bible. They simply went against the knowledge of the time, and the people in charge were religious. That has seriously hurt the credibility of people who speak in the name of creation science. Because to some, it is a throw back to the time when new ideas were automatically bad ideas. And I can understand the frustration people might have when Creationists oppose an idea embraced by so many people. But what you need to see is that naturalistic evolution (evolution formed life with no help) is simply a hypothesis that is based on assumption after assumption. Scientists that endorse the hypothesis have even gotten to the point where if a difficult question is raised, the only evidence needed to counter it is an explanation. That is truly bad science. Science is observing, explaining and then doing experiments to test the explanation. Theories about our origins lack that last part. No one was there to see it(Creation) or it takes to long to be observed(evolution, not adaptation). They are outside the bounds of true science, and they rely on a mindset and philosophy to interpret data. Both sides are biased. So when someone points out things like dinosaurs, I think about how they fit my view, not how they only make sense in light of evolution. Quite honestly, after quite a bit of study, I have found almost all data fits better with my view of Creation and the flood. So it all comes down to weighing evidence, not finding absolute proof. Until you realize that the idea that science has to be godless is a philosophy, you will never acknowledge any evidence in favor of Creation. Thanks for reading.

You are asking a few questions here.
Non christian believers are more often than not the people saying I will believe it when I see it, these same people believe in dinosaurs they can not see?
Why?
First look at the motivations of fossil finders etc. They need to fill museums etc with bones to keep justifying them digging in the dirt. (there is a fine line between being an idiot digging in the dirt and being a fossil hunter).
Why fight educational teaching of dinosaurs?
There is evidence to suggest that it is possible dinosaurs did not exist.
Moral teaching? Pascal had an interesting way of looking at it that believing the christian way was the mathematical best thing to do.

The thing is it took one hell of a long time for the church in Europe to give up the idea that the world is flat. After 1492 it gradually began to sink in.
The people who discredit fossil evidence of dinosaurs etc are:
- some are just stupid
- some are just deniers of reality in favour of Faith.
- some are arrogant liars who do know better.

We have seen the discovery of many types of fossils so I don't understand why anyone would deny their existence. I also don't see that fossils, bones or evolution would disprove the existence of God. Education is a good thing and the more you learn the better off you are, however, "a little knowledge IS a dangerous thing."

People believed that the world was flat because it obviously was. Most people, regardless of religion, could not conceive of the world being a giant ball.
You have made a decision based on what you believe is obvious, just like the "flat earth" people did and you have the same disdain for people who challenge your beliefs OR want to teach your children things that are different from what you believe is obvious.
What does that make you, or anyone else who uses these similar arguments.

I've never ever thought of dinosaurs other than part of creation//the earth's creation, as stated, "and let the earth produce",,, so the earth produced many things, according to its programed functions,,,
I also think maybe many types of dinosaurs were domesticated to some extent and were used to do massive lifting and other amazing things to "mimic" what we now use machines for.
Like the Amish use animals to do many things, but the "English" as they say rely on modern inventions, technologies...
I think we have a very limited view of the past and the way things were,

Some Christians think evolution is anti-Biblical because it isn't mentioned there, but they are wrong. There is nothing in the Bible that says "Evolution is not true!"
We know it's real from 150 years of collecting evidence, yet the fundies insist on "equal time" for creationism in public schools. Okay, so let's teach evolution in Sunday school - but you never hear those hypocrites insist on that, do you?

To admit the bible was written to encompass the knowledge available to man 2000 years ago is to admit it isn't the word as inspired by god, because god isn't limited by our knowledge. If it is inspired by god you then have to ask why is it god hasn't seen fit to inspire anyone to write a new version that encompasses the knowledge man has today.
Michelle Chang - Your statement proves to me you are simply repeating what you have been told to believe, not what you have found to be true. If you had bothered to do even the most basic research you would have found mountains of evidence for transitional fossils. Here's a small pebble from the mountain.

The premise that 'many Christians' discredit fossils is false.\
Christians do take note of the complete absence of 'transitional fossils' of which evolutionists deny!
Science, in the study of paleontology, have observed, not, a fossil record of slow steady evolution, but rather, have unearthed the beginnings of live as a virtual 'explosion' of variety!
The fact that there is a fossil record supports creation rather than abiogenesis/evolution. Why? Because it is the veritable simultaneous plethora of life appearing, that casts the 'millions/billions' of years of evolution into doubt.
