Will I see a difference in image quality beyween these 3 cameras if enlarged 11X14 or 8X10?

Mind you, I do not have experience with the current crop of Canon P&S cameras, but I say you will see a difference.

Without a DOUBT, the A460 will be on the bottom of the heap. Besides "only" having 5 MP to work with, the sensor is tiny. The 500's are small enough, but the A460's is the smallest standard size. I can't think of another camera at the moment that uses a sensor this small. VM, I know that you know what a difference that makes, so I won't go into it.

Between the others, I guess the IQ should be the same if "all things are equal," because they are essentially the same camera up until the image stabilization feature. I know that you understand the benefits if "IS" also, but here are a couple of examples. The sunflower shots are more of a real-world example than the car bumper series, where I was trying to shake the camera. In the sunflowers, I was trying to hold still both times, although I kept the ISO low enough to be sure that I'd have a slow shutter speed to induce shake naturally with the telephoto lens I was using.
