I don't think the ADHD is the entire problem, but it could be part of the problem. My advice:
1. Can a friend or family member take the cat for a while? If not, find him a good home where he won't be afraid.
2. Get to a doctor about the meds you take, as well as a therapist who can help deal with the anger issues. Medications can be a big help, but you really need to see a therapist to help deal with behavior issues. Meds aren't a magic cure all. They work better when combined with therapy.

You should give your cat to somebody. Right now if you are going through some hard times, you need to focus on yourself. You dont want to hurt your kitty but you never know. Also, if you are feeling angry all the time, you should get help, there is nothing wrong with taking pills or going to therapy, it doesnt mean you are crazy or that you are a bad person. The kitty doesnt deserve to be treated like that and you deserve to be happy. Give the kitty away.

What is wrong with you, dude? He's an innocent animal. Absolutely find him a loving home NOW. See if a friend can take him for a while until you find him a home. Since you've abused him, his likelihood of being adopted from the humane society are slim. And check yourself into someplace for help. ADHD doesn't make you violent. My brother has it and he's a kind soul. I have no sympathy for people that take out their violent frustrations on others, especially animals. Sicko.

Sounds like you have quite a bit of an anger issue, and until you get that under control, then perhaps your cat should be re-homed. Although you may think you'd never actually kill something, the risk of something like this going too far....is high.

I think that perhaps you should work on your anger problem by perhaps getting back on medication. However, you don't have to give your cat up completely. Find him a temporary home with a relative or friend until you get your issues under control. But, if you cannot get it under control I would suggest finding another permanent home for him.

Yes i think you should give the cat away. I also think you should conciser taking your medication again (Unless you have a good reason not to, in which case maybe its time to ask the doctors for another type)

I dont care what you have been diagnosed with. Trying to SMOTHER an animal is absolutely unacceptable and you have Got to get yourself under control. That poor little baby. Yes, definately find him a good home.

Find a no-kill shelter in the area, and ask them to find a permanent home for your cat. Please don't get another pet until you've completed therapy and are reliably stable. (BTW don't count on pills - you need to actually change your activity and behavior patterns.)

Get yourself to your Dr. Maybe your meds need to be changed. Yes, see if you can find a home for the cat. Its not the animals fault.
