Call the police and report the suspicious activity. Let them decide if there is anything to worry about. That is what they are there for.

You need to start writing down everything that is happening, what time the car is there, how long they sit there, if anything else is going on that seems unusual like items being moved etc. I would contact the police and at least make a report. The police may not do anything but every time you call it will be recorded. Call every single time you see the car. This sounds like a stalker and they can become very scary fast. I work at a crisis center and this is the advice we give our clients.

You definitely need to be contacting the police. Whoever this is sounds like they are watching your house. I don't want to frighten you, but this is typical of people who are going to break into a home, or even participate in a home invasion.
You are never making too much out of a situation that makes you feel uncomfortable in your own home. The police will gladly come to the area and find out what these unidentified people are up to, and you will be able to feel safe and secure in your own home once again.
I hope that everything works out fine for you and your family, and have a Merry Christmas.

My advice to you is write down the description of the vehicle, the time, day, location, possibly description of the person (s), then report this to your local police station, they will hopefully have at least enough to go on to at the very least caution this person (s) to stop harassing you and your husband. Don't approach the vehicle at all, always walk with your husband or a friend, never leave your doors unlocked or windows. Do what your normally do but at the same time be cautious. Good luck :)

First, to disabuse you of a false notion about police work: just because you consider yourself to be a law-abiding family of citizens is no reason that the police won't stake you out anyway. It isn't their job to congratulate you for your upstanding citizenry by leaving you alone. It's their job to treat everybody like a suspect until evidence clearly shows it not to be you.
Second, it cannot even possibly hurt for you to report a suspicious looking vehicle as a suspicious looking vehicle. So, do it: make the call.
It's better to cry wolf once for a false alarm than to not cry wolf and lose your fleece.

Chevy Malibu, somewhat plain? The about third most common plain clothes car for police to use, much less used than Ford Crown Victoria but still use full- you may be watched by police now.

Call the police as soon as you see it again. It's a "suspicious auto with occupants"--that's how the call comes out. Mention this has been every night. Nothing has to happen, we get calls like this all the time. Watch for that car and, if in the U.S., call 911.

I agree it's creepy. I would call the police and ask them to check it out...it may be nothing...but if you are home alone with 2 young kids....better safe than sorry.
