VLC will play everything

.VOB file is a DVD file...you can play that in Windows Media Player as long as you have saved all the file from the DVD...

if not then convert the VOB to AVI...you need to download this program

install this and this will allow you to convert the the VOB file to AVI and that will play in any normal player such as Winodws Media Player

vob's will play in media player classic - google k-lite
vob is the raw data of dvd format really you want to be reading the ifo's to play - the vobs sound and pic can go out of synch
