i am a christian however i can not figure out what church i should attend so much has changed so i don't know what to call my position.

You shouldn't base wether or not you want to go to Church based on peoples actions because people aren't perfect. The Bible says there is no good, but God. Even Christians are sinners. Keep your focus on God and the way you live daily. People who say they don't need to go to church to believe in God don't pray, don't read the Bible and don't fellowship with other Christians. So if you don't do any of those things than how can you say you have a relationship with God. Through prayer we talk to him and through his word, (the Bible) he talks to us. Are you ignoring him? If you never talk to one of your friends how can you call them your friend?
