Haze is going to be released sometime in the First Quarter of 2008 (January- March) according to Wikipedia.
I checked IGN.com and Gamestop.com and they have the release date of Haze for Jan. 15th 2008. The release date for Jan. 15th may or may not change, but I expect the game to come out in January or February at least.

Retail stores don't get the actual release date of games, it's just an estimate. Free Radical still hasn't set a solid release date, it's only known that Haze will be released early 2008.
