If I could, well to be honest with you, I wouldn't change a thing. I'm a big fan of diversity and I think a nation with a single religion only would suck. Not to mention how boring it would be.
Although I might be inclined to make people behave more toward the manner that their faith teaches. Less violence and crime, more compassion and understanding.

I wouldn't want to control people I would let them have the freedom to pick what they want to believe in or not believe in but it would be good if people could respect and accept each others beliefs or none beliefs more and that there were no more extreme religious people or cults.

i think going back to Christianity would help

when we were more religious we were a rich country that had an empire that stretched all over the world with a famous saying 'the sun never sets on the British empire'

i think tho that we did the right thing and allowed various members of our commonwealth to function independently with many of those countries doing extremely well even to this day.

if peoples hearts were stayed on Jesus then you would find that crime and teen pregnancies would plummet and folks would be much nicer to each other and to everyone else because they would have a heartfelt desire to care for others (think of most charities did start life as a christian enterprise to help the unfortunate)

Paganism. No control... You choose your own God or Gods, or Goddess, and worship, or Honor them however you feel you'd like to. And if you don't really believe in them, that's fine too. Many of the ancient Roman Pagans were atheists at heart, and it wasn't looked down upon. The gods are part of our psyche, if they exist beyond our own minds, is irrelevant.

Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism and Jainism.....These are the ONLY religions that have NEVER been involved in wars of religion or wars of aggression..Moreover they are quite liberal in the outlook and don't believe in conversion...like islam and christianity do.
