I met this girl yesterday in some 2 day class I had to take, we kind of hit it off and we were flirting all day and today. I want to hang out with her more and am about to send her a text saying "hey we should hang out sometime aight ur a pretty cool grl." Does that sound too 'nice?'

No it's not too nice but maybe you should re-arrange the wording like " Your a cool girl to be around. Wanna hang out sometime." It sounds better and it's super flirty. Good Luck!

Unfortunately it is.... you see, you're seeking her approval. Instead, TELL her, not ask her, but tell her to come with you to (wherever) this weekend... tell her it will be fun. I suggest you take some friends or tell her to bring some friends. Be confident and be creative in the way you talk to her or make suggestions. For God's sake, do not become just friends because you will fall in the friends zone and then you're screwed. Good luck, oh yeah, don't text her, only nice guys and whimps do that. Nope, that's just casual enough to seem like you're interested but not seem desperate. I'd like a guy to send me a text that says that if we had just met and he wanted to hang out with me. If you get a response, you'll know she's interested. If not, it was never meant to be.
