Whats is the easiest way to make stuffed breads?
I really dont want to buy the frozen bread that has to rise overnight. Can I use pillsbury pizza crust in the roll ?

I use the Pillsbury. I brush olive oil on it, sprinkle a little thyme, then any topping you want, spreading it in the middle. I cut into the sides about 3 in. in. Then overlap it, Bake according to package..

Pepperoni Bread Pillsbury Pizza Dough

INGREDIENTS

* 1 (1 pound) bread dough,
* 1 egg, beaten
* 4 ounces sliced pepperoni sausage
* 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
* 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
* 1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning

DIRECTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly grease a baking sheet.
2. Roll bread dough out into a rectangle. Brush dough with beaten egg. Arrange pepperoni, mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese over the dough. Sprinkle on the Italian seasoning. Roll up dough like a jelly roll and pinch seam to seal; place, seam side down, on prepared baking sheet.
3. Bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until golden.

* 1 (6 ounce) package shredded Muenster cheese
* salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly grease an 8x8 inch square baking dish.
2. Beat the egg in a medium bowl. Mix in the pepperoni, milk, flour, Muenster cheese, salt and pepper. Pour into the baking dish.
3. Bake in the preheated oven 30 minutes, or until lightly browned.

naaa i wouldnt.... buy the pizza dough and let it rise.... to speed up the rising, put the loaf in a preheated oven as low as the oven will go. turn the oven off... put loaf of dough on cookie sheet in oven with a flannel shirt or towel on top. this will speed up the process of dough rising..... you may also be able to go to any bakery, or pizza shop and purchase dough already defrosted.
i make pizza bread once a week, and i ALWAYS forget to take th dough out of the freezer!!!!
