I suppose in the way that you might love Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny. Or maybe a good story. Unless of course, you actually believe in these, then I apologize for inadvertantly shattering your belief system.
The nature of your question is bizarre and doesn't make much sense. An atheist is not likely to either love or hate god. God is not relevant to the atheist, except in terms of how the belief influences the behavior of other people.

Oh. Oh. For a second, I thought you said "COD," and I thought it was an odd place for a question about fish, and I was thinking, well, no, I'm vegan, I don't eat that stuff.
Then I realized, you said "GOD" and that you don't have a clue about proper punctuation or the rules of capitalization.
But since I'm an agnostic, I have to say I don't know. I mean, if god existed, probably not because s/he's certainly made a mess of this world and allowed evil men to totally screw up my country.

That is a very profound question for an Atheist. What do you think? I cannot love a character of the book of fairy tales that you call bible. Well, I can but only if I want to deceive myself.

Atheists, pagans, heathens and other "non-believers" don't believe in the Christian god so that can neither love nor hate something they don't believe in.
Personally, I worry more about his followers than "god."
