depends where you live and what your riding habits are. motorcyclists might tend to do more recreational riding. but that might be countered by not riding it year round. also the motorcycle might not be the primary vehicle.
so average really isn't a meaningful figure of merit.

I would say between 5 and 8,000 due to the fact that a lot of bikers do not go out in the wet or snow/cold due to the crap on the roads,and the fact that throwing a sportsbike down the road in icy conditions can get bloody expensive.

i do around 10 000 a year
use it every day what ever the weather
tires and chains and sprokets do me in ;(
£300+ each time some times 1 or 2 times a year
